Ingredients

3 cups watermelon, cubed and frozen

1 banana, sliced and frozen

1/2 cup coconut milk (or your preferred milk)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, based on sweetness preference)

1 tablespoon lime juice

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings:

Fresh mint leaves

Sliced kiwi

Coconut flakes

Granola

Chia seeds

Pomegranate seeds

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Ensure the watermelon and banana are cubed and frozen for at least 4 hours (or overnight) for a thick, icy base.

Blend: In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen watermelon, frozen banana, coconut milk, honey (if using), lime juice, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more coconut milk until the desired consistency is reached.

Taste and Adjust: Before serving, taste the smoothie base. Add more honey for sweetness or lime juice for tartness if preferred, then blend again briefly.

Assemble the Bowls: Divide the smoothie mixture between two bowls, creating a smooth and even layer across the surface.

Add Toppings: Artfully arrange your chosen toppings on each smoothie bowl. Feel free to get creative with your presentation! Start with a sprinkle of granola, followed by slices of kiwi, a few mint leaves, coconut flakes, chia seeds, and a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds.

Serve Immediately: Enjoy your refreshing watermelon smoothie bowls right away for the best texture and flavor.
