Ingredients

1 cup chili (homemade or canned)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup cooked white rice

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup diced onions

1/4 cup pickled jalapeƱos (optional for spice)

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions

Prepare the Chili: If using homemade chili, prepare it according to your favorite recipe or heat up canned chili in a saucepan. Stir in taco seasoning for an extra kick.

Warm the Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or olive oil. Add one tortilla at a time and warm it for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Remove and repeat for all tortillas.

Layer the Ingredients: On each warmed tortilla, spread a layer of cooked rice, followed by a generous serving of chili. Add a scoop of sour cream, sprinkle diced onions, and top with shredded cheddar cheese and pickled jalapeƱos, if desired.

Wrap the Burrito: Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll the bottom up over the filling and continue rolling tightly until the burrito is secure. Ensure the filling is well-enclosed.

Toast the Burritos: In the same skillet, place the burrito seam-side down. Cook on medium heat for about 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy, then carefully flip and toast the other side for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing in half. Serve with extra sour cream, salsa, or guacamole on the side for dipping.
