Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup warm water (about 110°F or 43°C)

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 teaspoon instant yeast

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: 1/4 cup chocolate chips or nuts for added flavor

Instructions

Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Once combined, add the frothy yeast mixture and stir until fully incorporated.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour and salt.

Form the Dough: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon or your hands until a soft dough forms. If it's too sticky, sprinkle in a little more flour. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips or nuts at this stage.

Kneading: Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

First Rise: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

Shape the Dough: Once risen, punch down the dough to release air. Shape it into a loaf by rolling it into a rectangle and then rolling it tightly from one end to the other. Tuck the ends under and place it seam side down in a greased loaf pan.

Second Rise: Cover the loaf pan with a cloth and let it rise again for about 30-45 minutes, until it puffs up just above the rim of the pan.

Preheat Oven: Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake: Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and it sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Cool Down: Once baked, let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

Serve: Slice and enjoy your Sweet Dreams Bread plain or with a spread of butter, jam, or even more sweetened condensed milk!
