Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Panko)

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 egg, beaten

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust for spice preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Optional: extra Sriracha for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, minced garlic, beaten egg, Sriracha, soy sauce, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper. Use your hands to mix until all ingredients are well incorporated, but be careful not to overmix.

Shape the Meatballs: With wet hands (to prevent sticking), take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a meatball shape. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.

Bake the Meatballs: Drizzle the meatballs with sesame oil for extra flavor. Place them in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

Serve: Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Arrange the meatballs on a serving platter, garnished with chopped fresh cilantro. Optionally, drizzle with extra Sriracha for added heat.

Enjoy: Serve these spicy Sriracha turkey meatballs with rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps for a delightful meal!
