No-Bake S’mores Rice Krispie Treats

4 cups Rice Krispie cereal

10 oz mini marshmallows

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 cup crushed graham crackers (about 8 full sheets)

1 cup mini marshmallows (for layering)

Pinch of salt

Optional: Extra mini chocolate chips and graham cracker crumbs for topping

Instructions
 

Prepare the Pan: Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper for easy removal later.

    Melt the Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan over low heat, combine the unsalted butter and 10 oz of mini marshmallows. Stir continuously until melted and smooth. This should take about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

      Add Cereal and Crushed Graham Crackers: Immediately stir in the Rice Krispie cereal, crushed graham crackers, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all the cereal and graham crackers are evenly coated with the melted marshmallow mixture.

        Layer the Mixture: Pour half of the Rice Krispie mixture into the prepared baking pan. Press it down firmly to create an even base.

          Add Chocolate and Mini Marshmallows: Sprinkle the milk chocolate chips and the 1 cup of mini marshmallows evenly over the pressed base.

            Top with Remaining Mixture: Take the remaining Rice Krispie mixture and press it over the chocolate and marshmallows layer. Make sure to pack it down gently, ensuring an even surface.

              Cool and Set: Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. If you are in a hurry, you can place them in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to set.

                Slice and Serve: Once set, cut the treats into squares or rectangles. If desired, drizzle melted chocolate over the top and sprinkle with extra graham cracker crumbs before serving.

                  Enjoy: Serve immediately or store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
