Ingredients

4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

Juice of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley or chives for garnish, chopped (optional)

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, butter, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and salt. Stir until the butter melts and the mixture is well combined. Remove from heat.

Marinate the Salmon: In a shallow dish, drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon fillets, making sure they get an even coating. Allow to marinate for about 15 minutes.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Glaze the Salmon: Place the marinated salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Using a brush or spoon, generously coat each fillet with the honey butter glaze.

Bake: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Halfway through the baking time, you can brush the salmon with another layer of the glaze for extra flavor.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives for garnish. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Enjoy: Pair your Honey Butter Glazed Salmon with a side of roasted vegetables or fluffy rice for a delightful meal.
