Golden Chicken Nuggets with Honey Mustard

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Honey Mustard Sauce:

½ cup mayonnaise

¼ cup Dijon mustard

¼ cup honey

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized nugget shapes and set aside.

    Set Up Breading Station: In three separate bowls, place flour seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne. In the second bowl, whisk the eggs. In the third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

      Bread the Chicken: Take a piece of chicken, coat it in flour, shaking off any excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, then dredge in breadcrumbs, ensuring it is fully coated. Repeat with all the pieces.

        Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of the pan (about ½ inch deep). Heat over medium-high heat until shimmering but not smoking.
