Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Steak: Start by cutting the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which helps achieve a nice sear.

Season: Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper on all sides. This will enhance the flavor of the steak.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Ensure the pan is hot before adding the steak for a good sear.

Cook the Steak: Add half of the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until nicely browned. Remove the first batch and keep it warm on a plate. Repeat with the remaining steak cubes.

Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Once it's melted, stir in the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

Combine and Glaze: Add the cooked steak bites back into the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter mixture until well-coated. Cook for an additional minute to reheat the steak.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the skillet from the heat. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your steak bites warm, perfect with crusty bread or a fresh salad!
