Ingredients

For the Cereal Milk:

2 cups of your favorite cereal (e.g., Corn Flakes, Fruity Pebbles)

2 cups whole milk

For the Yogurt Filling:

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

¼ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

For the Sandwich Rounds:

1 batch of cereal milk (from above)

2 cups granola or crushed cereal (to coat)

1 cup mini chocolate chips or sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

Prepare Cereal Milk:

    - In a large bowl, combine the cereal and milk. Stir gently to ensure all the cereal is submerged.

      - Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, allowing the cereal to infuse its flavor into the milk.

        - Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to separate the liquid from the cereal. Set your cereal milk aside for later.

          Make Yogurt Filling:

            - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy. Adjust the sweetness to your taste if needed.

              Form the Sandwich Rounds:

                - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

                  - Using a cookie cutter or a glass, cut out rounds from the cereal you reserved from making the cereal milk. You will need to make two rounds per sandwich.

                    - Place half the rounds on the prepared baking sheet.

                      Add the Yogurt Filling:

                        - Spoon a generous dollop of the yogurt filling onto each round on the baking sheet.

                          - Place additional rounds on top to create a sandwich. Gently press down to spread the filling evenly.

                            Coat the Sandwich Rounds:

                              - Dip the sides of each sandwich round into the crushed granola or crushed cereal, pressing gently to adhere. If you’d like, sprinkle mini chocolate chips or sprinkles on top for added flavor and decoration.

                                Freeze:

                                  - Place the baking sheet into the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours or until fully set and firm.

                                    Serve:

                                      - Remove from the freezer and let sit for a few minutes to soften slightly for easy biting.

                                        - Enjoy your delicious Frozen Yogurt Cereal Milk Sandwich Rounds as a treat or dessert!
