Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 medium apples ( peeled, cored, and diced)

1 cup granola (your favorite kind)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Apples: In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey or maple syrup. Mix well and let sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Make the Yogurt Base: In a separate large mixing bowl, add the Greek yogurt. Gently fold in the prepared apple mixture, ensuring the apples are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt.

Add Crunch: Stir in the granola and nuts (if using) into the yogurt-apple mixture. This will give your frozen pie chunks some delightful texture.

Transfer to Ice Cube Trays: Spoon the mixture into silicone ice cube trays or a muffin tin. Use a spatula to smooth out the top, ensuring the mixture is compact.

Freeze: Cover the trays with plastic wrap and place them in the freezer. Allow the mixture to freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.

Pop and Serve: Once frozen, gently pop the yogurt chunks out of the trays. Serve them immediately for a refreshing dessert or snack! They can also be stored in a zip-top bag in the freezer for up to two weeks.

Optional Toppings: If desired, drizzle with additional honey or your favorite sauce before serving, or sprinkle with some extra cinnamon for that authentic apple pie flavor.
