Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1 large apple (Granny Smith or Fuji, finely chopped)

1/3 cup caramel sauce (jarred or homemade)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Mini muffin liners or silicone molds

Instructions

Prep the Apple: In a mixing bowl, toss the finely chopped apple with lemon juice and cinnamon to prevent browning and enhance flavor. If using nuts, mix them in as well.

Combine Yogurt and Caramel: In another bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with two tablespoons of caramel sauce. Mix well until smooth and creamy.

Layer the Mixture: Take your mini muffin liners or silicone molds and fill each about halfway with the yogurt mixture. Gently press a spoonful of the apple mixture on top of the yogurt layer.

Top it Off: Drizzle a little more caramel sauce over the apple layer, and if desired, sprinkle additional nuts on top.

Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer for at least 3-4 hours or until completely frozen.

Serve: Once frozen solid, remove the bites from the molds. Let them sit at room temperature for a minute if they are too stiff to remove easily. Enjoy these delightful frozen treats immediately!
