Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup unsweetened applesauce

1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and finely diced

1/4 cup brown sugar (adjust based on apple sweetness)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 cup granola (optional, for added texture)

Popsicle molds and sticks

Instructions

Prepare the Apples: In a medium bowl, combine the finely diced apple with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well and let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Mix the Yogurt Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt and applesauce. Stir until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.

Incorporate Apples: Gently fold the spiced apple mixture into the yogurt blend. If you prefer some extra crunch, fold in the granola at this stage.

Fill the Molds: Spoon the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little room at the top for expansion. If you like, you can layer the pops with additional applesauce or granola for added texture.

Insert Sticks: Place the sticks into the molds and ensure they are centered.

Freeze: Pop the molds into the freezer and freeze for at least 6 hours or until completely solid.

Unmold and Serve: To release the pops, run warm water over the outsides of the molds for a few seconds. Carefully pull the pops out and enjoy immediately!
