1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup chicken broth

For the Coleslaw:

4 cups green cabbage, finely shredded

1 cup carrots, grated

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon sugar

Salt and pepper to taste

For serving:

12 slider buns

Extra BBQ sauce for drizzling (optional)

Pickles (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Pulled Pork:

    - In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

      - Rub this spice mixture all over the pork shoulder, ensuring it's well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for maximum flavor.

        Cook the Pork:

          - Place the seasoned pork in a slow cooker or large oven-safe pot.

            - Pour the apple cider vinegar and chicken broth around the pork, then cover with a lid.

              - If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork. If using an oven, preheat it to 300°F (150°C) and cook for approximately 3-4 hours.

                Make the Coleslaw:

                  - In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrots.

                    - In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.

                      - Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until everything is well coated. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

                        Shred the Pork:

                          - Once the pork is cooked and tender, remove it from the slow cooker or pot and place it on a cutting board. Allow it to rest for a few minutes.

                            - Use two forks to shred the meat into bite-sized pieces, discarding any large chunks of fat.

                              - Mix the shredded pork with the BBQ sauce in a large bowl until well combined.

                                Assemble Sliders:

                                  - Slice the slider buns in half.

                                    - Pile a generous amount of BBQ pulled pork on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a spoonful of coleslaw.

                                      - Drizzle with extra BBQ sauce, if desired, and add pickles for an extra crunch.

                                        - Place the top of the bun over the filling and serve immediately.
