1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup finely diced cooked bacon (optional)

2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Add the Greek yogurt and shredded mozzarella cheese, stirring until a dough forms. If using, fold in the cooked bacon.

      Knead the Dough: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute, just until combined. Avoid over-kneading.

        Form the Bites: Divide the dough into equal pieces (about 1-inch balls) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Leave space between each bite to allow for rising.

          Add Egg Wash: Brush the tops of each dough ball with the beaten egg to give them a nice golden color when baked.

            Sprinkle Seasoning: Generously sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top of each bite. For added texture and flavor, you may also sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.

              Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bites are golden brown and firm to the touch.

                Cool & Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly on a wire rack. Serve warm as a delicious snack or appetizer!
