Ingredients

1 lb (450g) of pull-apart bread (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

1 head of garlic

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Roast the Tomatoes and Garlic:

    - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

      - On a baking sheet, toss the halved cherry tomatoes and the whole head of garlic (top sliced off) with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Spread them out evenly.

        - Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tomatoes are blistered and the garlic is soft. Once done, let them cool slightly.

          Prepare the Creamy Sauce:

            - Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins into a medium saucepan. Add the heavy cream and stir over low heat until combined and warmed through.

              - Add the roasted tomatoes with their juices, and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.

                - Stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

                  Prepare the Pull-Apart Bread:

                    - While the sauce simmers, cut the pull-apart bread into sections, creating deep cuts, but not slicing all the way through, so the pieces stay connected.

                      - Brush the remaining olive oil over the top of the bread, ensuring it seeps into the cuts.

                        Assemble and Bake:

                          - Carefully pour the creamy tomato and garlic sauce over the pull-apart bread, letting it drip into the cuts. Ensure even distribution to maximize flavor.

                            - Wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil (this helps keep the bread soft) and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

                              - Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp the top.

                                Serve:

                                  - Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.

                                    - Serve warm and enjoy pulling apart the slices while savoring the creamy, garlicky goodness!
