Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

12 ounces fettuccine or your pasta of choice

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.

Brown the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add some reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly in the creamy Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add crushed red pepper flakes if you like some heat.

Serve: Plate the pasta and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top if desired.

Enjoy: Serve immediately and relish the creamy goodness of your homemade Ground Beef Alfredo Pasta!
