Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Optional: red pepper flakes, for added heat

Instructions

Melt the Butter: In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter until completely liquid, being careful not to let it brown.

Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Stir constantly to avoid burning the garlic.

Add Spices: Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and let it simmer for an additional minute to allow the flavors to meld.

Finish with Lemon Juice: Remove the saucepan from heat and add the lemon juice, stirring well. This will brighten the flavor of the sauce.

Serve Hot: Pour the Cajun garlic butter sauce over your favorite grilled seafood, chicken, or vegetables. Optionally, sprinkle red pepper flakes for extra heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
