Ingredients

1 cup fresh blackberries

1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 lime)

1 oz simple syrup (or to taste)

3 oz ginger beer

4 oz champagne or sparkling wine

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Lime wedges, for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the Blackberries: In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh blackberries gently until they are crushed and release their juices.

Mix the Base: Add the freshly squeezed lime juice and simple syrup to the muddled blackberries. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to combine.

Assemble the Drink: Strain the blackberry mixture into a chilled copper mule mug or a glass filled with ice.

Add the Ginger Beer: Pour the ginger beer over the muddled mixture in the glass, and gently stir to combine.

Top with Champagne: Slowly add the champagne or sparkling wine on top for a bubbly finish. Do this gently to preserve the bubbles.

Garnish: Add a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge on the rim for decoration. Toss in a few whole blackberries for an extra touch.

Serve and Enjoy: Enjoy your refreshing Blackberry Champagne Mule immediately while it’s still fizzy!
