Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 slider rolls

1 cup coleslaw (for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In a slow cooker, add the chicken breasts, followed by the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to coat the chicken evenly in the sauce.

Cook the Chicken: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the chicken is very tender and easily shredded with a fork.

Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and toss it in the remaining sauce.

Prepare the Slider Rolls: While the chicken is absorbing the flavors, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the slider rolls on a baking sheet and lightly toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden.

Assemble the Sliders: Carefully spoon a generous amount of the pulled chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each slider roll. Top with a spoonful of coleslaw for added crunch and freshness. Place the top half of the slider roll on top.

Serve: Assemble all sliders on a serving platter and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy the sliders warm with extra BBQ sauce on the side, if desired.
