Ingredients

2 cups shredded cooked chicken (preferably smoked or rotisserie)

1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice of flavor)

1 bag tortilla chips (about 10-12 ounces)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup corn (fresh, canned, or frozen)

1 jalapeño, sliced (optional for heat)

1 ripe avocado, diced

½ cup sour cream

¼ cup diced green onions

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated and heated through (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat.

Layer the Chips: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet or an oven-safe platter.

Assemble Nachos: Distribute the BBQ pulled chicken over the tortilla chips. Sprinkle the black beans and corn evenly on top. Finally, add the shredded cheddar cheese to ensure it melts beautifully.

Bake: Place the assembled nachos in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add Fresh Toppings: Once out of the oven, remove the nachos and immediately top them with sliced jalapeños (if using), diced avocado, and dollops of sour cream.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle diced green onions and fresh cilantro over the top for extra flavor. Serve the nachos hot, with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over.

Enjoy!: Grab a fork or go in with your hands and dive into the cheesy, BBQ goodness!
