Ingredients

20 jumbo pasta shells

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 egg, beaten

2 cups marinara sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese (reserve 1/3 cup for topping), Parmesan cheese, and the beaten egg. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach mixture, using about 2 tablespoons per shell. Place the stuffed shells seam-side up in the baking dish.

Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells, ensuring they are evenly covered. Sprinkle the reserved mozzarella cheese on top.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh basil. Serve warm and enjoy!
