Ingredients

2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough

2 large apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and diced

1 cup brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

1/2 cup raisins (optional)

1/2 cup cream cheese frosting (included with cinnamon roll dough or homemade)

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Toss until the apples are well-coated. Set aside.

Open the cans of cinnamon roll dough and separate each roll. Cut each roll into quarters.

In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and vanilla extract.

In the prepared baking dish, spread half of the quartered cinnamon rolls evenly across the bottom.

Layer half of the apple mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces. If using, sprinkle half of the nuts and raisins on top.

Add the remaining quartered cinnamon rolls on top of the apple layer, followed by the rest of the apple mixture, nuts, and raisins.

Drizzle any remaining melted butter over the entire dish to ensure a rich flavor and a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and the apples are tender.

Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Drizzle the cream cheese frosting evenly over the top while it's still warm, allowing it to melt slightly into the dish.

Serve warm and enjoy your delightful Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake!
