1 cup almond butter (creamy or crunchy)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup almond flour

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 cup dark chocolate chips (or dairy-free, if preferred)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as almonds or walnuts)

1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond butter and honey (or maple syrup) until well mixed and smooth.

    Add in the rolled oats, almond flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are fully combined and a thick dough forms.

      If using, mix in the cinnamon and chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.

        Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

          Refrigerate the dough for about 15 minutes to make it easier to handle.

            Once chilled, use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

              After rolling all the dough into bites, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until the bites are firm.
