Ingredients

For the Salmon Bites:

1 lb (450g) salmon fillet, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Garlic Cream Sauce:

½ cup (120ml) heavy cream

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh chives or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon Bites:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine the salmon pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat all pieces evenly.

      Preheat the Air Fryer:

        - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This ensures even cooking and crispiness.

          Air Fry the Salmon:

            - Place the seasoned salmon bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches depending on your air fryer size.

              - Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even browning. The salmon bites should be golden and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).

                Prepare the Garlic Cream Sauce:

                  - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant but not browned.

                    - Pour in the heavy cream and add the lemon juice and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine.

                      - Allow the sauce to simmer gently for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

                        Serve:

                          - Once the salmon bites are cooked, transfer them to a serving platter. Drizzle the garlic cream sauce over the top or serve it on the side for dipping.

                            - Garnish with fresh chives or parsley and enjoy!
