1 lb ground chicken

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 red bell pepper, finely chopped

1 cup water chestnuts, diced

3 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 head of butter or iceberg lettuce, leaves separated for wrapping

Optional toppings: chopped peanuts, cilantro, and lime wedges

Prep the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.

    Add Vegetables: Fold in the chopped red bell pepper, diced water chestnuts, and chopped green onions. Stir until the mixture is evenly combined.

      Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

        Air Fry the Chicken: Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil. Scoop about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture and form small balls or patties. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to do this in batches).

          Cook: Air fry the chicken mixture for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The chicken should be golden brown and cooked through.
