Ingredients

2 medium-sized zucchinis

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon dried oregano

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)

Instructions

Prepare the Zucchini: Start by slicing the zucchinis into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick. Use a mandoline slicer if available for uniform thickness.

Season the Slices: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced zucchini with olive oil, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, smoked paprika (if using), onion powder, and dried oregano. Toss the zucchini slices well until they are evenly coated in the mixture.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.

Arrange the Chips: Place the seasoned zucchini slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overlapping to ensure they crisp up nicely. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in batches.

Air Fry the Chips: Cook the zucchini slices for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to promote even crispiness. Keep an eye on them towards the end as cooking times may vary.

Add Parmesan (Optional): If you're using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the chips during the last 2 minutes of cooking for that extra cheesy touch.

Cool and Serve: Once they are golden brown and crispy, carefully remove the zucchini chips from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. They will get crunchier as they cool.

Enjoy: Serve your air-fried zucchini garlic chips warm as a delicious snack or a side dish. Pair them with a yogurt or ranch dip for added flavor!
